REITs postponed ..... then when share tanks, they say we r flush with money and come with a buy back ...... mainly to support the stock price ....... and now they want cash so they r looking at QIP ...... they themselves dont know what they r doing ..... but inspite of all posturing ' being cashrich' now they hv shown the soft underbelly of the cashcrunch faced by them ..... so we can only recommend 'sell' ...... what else ......

madhav ranade (8/26/2008 10:20:58 AM): infy - axon deal ......... we can forget that the deal has happened .......... it is so insignificant atleast in the short to medium term ........... u may consider buying 1650 put around 6/7 rs if u want to take a punt ........... today rupee is strong so the stock has not corrected but it may go below 1650 and closer to 1600 levels around expiry ............
madhav ranade (8/26/2008 10:30:28 AM): when rupee goes up ...... every sector except IT is going to suffer ......... inflation will move up further and interest sensitives / banks will be worst sufferers ........ oil cos will take a bigger knock .... so will ongc ...... and there will be more pressure from SP for windfall tax ...... which wl hurt reliance .......... and if both reliance / ongc wl get in trouble ...... u can imagine what wl happen to nifty ............

Sell all sugar stocks...Supreme Court has no jurisidiction on SAP as Agriculture is Constitutionally a State subject..the SAP fixing case will be thrown out of the courts on September 1. More importantly on ICE Futures Sugar October delivery trades at Rs 12 a kg FOB New York..Wholesale prices in India are Rs 18 a kg..which will allow GOI to import Sugar to curb inflation.
